Friends of Louder Than War My Bloody Valentine (their first proper press interview was conducted by LTW boss John Robb – read it here) have announced on their Facebook page that they have finished mastering their new album and that it is ready for release for 2013.
Their jokey Facebook missive ran…, “On 21-12-12 we finished mastering the new album!” So even if the world didn’t end that day, something pretty momentous happened.’
The album, that Kevin Shields talked to us about last time we met him, is finally ready. The drum tracks were laid down a long time ago he told us with his bother playing many of the parts until Colm came back and played them and then the rest of the album was finished off and that he had been working away on his own laying down most of the guitar parts on his own before Belinda came in to sing the vocals and will be released via the band’s website.
