Peter Murphy enters not guilty plea in LA
Ex-Bauhaus front man Peter Murphy has entered a plea of not guilty following an alleged hit and run incident in Glendale, near Los Angeles, California, on Monday.
Murphy himself did not appear in the LA County Superior Court, but legal representatives acting on his behalf denied three misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, hit-and-run driving and possessing methamphetamine.
According to his legal team, plans for the forthcoming ‘Mr Moonlight’ tour, celebrating 35 years of Bauhaus, starting in Texas on 22nd April, remain unchanged.
